If you're a lore freak and a Forsaken fan like I am, you might share one of my biggest pet peeves about the World of Warcraft: Why is Sylvanas Windrunner in a Night Elf Body when she's an undead High Elf? The RPG Books tell us that she is in her old body, which Arthas dug up and let her possess as a reward for her services to the scourge, so she should look like a high elf or a blood elf. Instead, she's just a night elf with gray skin. Most of her other High Elven brothers and sisters got a blood elf skin revamp with the expansion, so it always felt wrong that one of the most famous High Elves of them all was stuck as a lowly Night Elf. All the World's a Stage is a source for roleplaying ideas, suggestions, and discussions. It is published every Sunday evening. You've probably heard that no story is completely original, that everything is copied from somewhere, and nothing anyone ever thinks or says is really unique. It's an awfully pessimistic way of looking at the creative endeavor, but there's a degree of truth in it.

Two bosses will enter... but only one will leave in WoW Insider's fantasy deathmatch series. We're pitting two of Azeroth's raid bosses against one another in a battle that your votes get to decide -- until in the end we're left with a single boss as the ultimate champion. Be sure to check out our brackets for a full round-up of our ongoing fight schedule!) This week two Ahn'Qiraj bosses face down, faithful lieutenant Princess Huhuran turns against her master, the Old God C'thun. The battle of AQ commences! Read on to cast your vote on who makes it to the Final Four!

From a player's perspective, Princess Huhuran is an annoying resistance-based fight. But just having a high enough nature resistance won't win this one for you -- beyond her nature damage, she can also deal immense amounts of melee damage, especially when in Frenzy or Berserk. Her abilities are as follows:
- Frenzy: greatly increases melee damage.
- Poison Bolt: high nature damage to the closest 15 targets, only happens when in Frenzy or Berserk.
- Noxious Poison: high nature damage DoT which silences the target. Cast on a target at random.
- Wyvern Sting: AoE sleep that deals nature damage if cleansed.
- Acid Spit: low damage nature DoT on Huhuran's primary target -- but it stacks.
- Berserk: at 30% health, Huhuran will Berserk, greatly increasing her attack speed and causing her to send out Poison Bolts.

Dear Blizzard,For whatever reason, your game has been experiencing multiple server related issues in the past few weeks. Many players have seen themselves offline an abnormal amount of time, and for no apparent reason. Some realms have been brought offline for emergency maintenance and stayed that way for nearly a day. Other realms are seeing themselves either reset or become sundered down with mass disconnects that make any serious play almost impossible.

I hate the first ten levels. When I say I hate them I mean I really, really hate them. Oh sure, they may only take an hour or so, but how many times have most of us done them by now? I've been playing the World of Warcraft since the day it launched. Earlier than that if you count the beta testing period.[View Remaining 2 Paragraphs]

About two months ago, the Lead Designer for Blizzard gave an interview stating that Patch 2.4 -- specifically, the Sunwell instances -- will wrap up the story of the Burning Crusade. This got some of us here thinking. What exactly is the story of the Burning Crusade? Is it the tale of the blood elves and the draenei joining the Horde/Alliance factions? The mass exodus to Outland? The battles against the Illidari? Or the (once again temporary) defeat of the Burning Legion?

For many, the role of the Healer is something to be avoided all together. For the few, however, healing is a meaningful, rewarding and challenging job, albeit an often-thankless one. Being a healer also tends to make one a popular player. This popularity can wane at higher levels if you don't pick up on a crucial principle: your job is more than just healing. Depending on your class, you will have other duties that include keeping buffs on your companions, de-cursing them, stepping in front of the mage if he or she draws aggro and the list goes on. Addons are one way that the aspiring healer can shift some focus towards his or her other duties. By taking some of the busy work out of casting healing spells, buffs and keeping the party free of curses, poisons and/or diseases, programs like Healbot Continued can take you from being a good healer to being a stellar and indispensable member of any group.

Faxmonkey wasn't sure if what he posted was a bug or not in World of Warcraft. He mentioned that Totemic Recall still had global cooldown even if the 2.4 patch has introduced API which allows players to make a macro that can do the exact function as Totemic Recall without a global cooldown.
He added his assumption that the addition of DestroyTotem() was fully intended. With this, he said that it's silly and unintended to leave the global cooldown on Totemic Recall. In his own opinion, he just want the global cooldown to be taken off already.

Seppy of the Neptulon Server finished a new daily on the PTR which gave him a buff that affected his vision. He headed to Bash'ir Landing in Blade's Edge Mountains and got a different perspective on the warp gates there. I don't know about you, but I'd love it if the whole game looked like this.

Aigarius posted the bug he encountered when playing World of Warcraft. Being a Linux and ATi card user, he mentioned that whenever he would enter the world the new PTR build would crash. In fact, he was able to post the exact error message that pops up with it.

Heads up, gamers! Over on the World of Warcraft Test Realm forums, Hortus has noted a new bug that's appearing all over the different bodies of water in Azeroth and Outland. Apparently, there's a water texture bug that's keeping certain textures from appearing where they should.

I have a confession to make. I love doing Alterac Valley, but I hate being stuck babysitting flags. I am not a defender- neither at a flag nor at the general's end of the map. As I mentioned on the WoW Insider Show, my main is a Resto Shaman. On Cyclone Battlegroup there seems to be a race to get away from the flag once it's been taken. The last one left is the "defender." Being a healer often times I drink after a taking a flag while everyone else dashes off. I win the right to watch the flag. I stay there and call out incomings. I will not leave a flag undefended, but if there's any way I can scoot out of there, I will.
