We are currently investigating an issue where our updater will indicate it has stopped working immediately upon launch on some 64bit Windows Vista machines. The PTR downloaders have been updated in the hopes of resolving this issue. Please let us know if anyone is still having problems with Vista after last nights patch (8063).

Last night's update initiated stage 3 of the arena tournament test.

During this phase existing arena team members are locked and can not be changed.

New arena teams that are created will still be able to be changed.

The Worldwide Invitational will be attended by the European community teams, as well as members from all of our global teams including the US, China, Taiwan, and Korea. Blizzard executives and developers from both the World of Warcraft and StarCraft II teams will also be present and many will take part in public discussions and panels.

The environments section of the World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King website has been updated with new information about the vast arctic wasteland of the Dragonblight, one of the many new regions you will be able to explore in the upcoming expansion. The update also includes a fly-through movie, new concept art, and new zone screenshots.
