In preparation for the start of the 2008 World of Warcraft Arena Tournament, registration is now open. The Arena Tournament focuses on 3-vs.-3 Arena competition, and participants will be given the chance to qualify for live tournaments with cash prizes. By registering you will be granted access to our special tournament realms (which will be opened for the first qualifier on March 31). You will be able to customize your characters with a variety of talents and powerful gear in order to battle with fellow players for prizes and prestige! We have just updated the Wrath of the Lich King Bestiary ( http://www.wow-europe.com/wrath/index.xml?locale=en_GB ) with a new creature: the Taunka.
This tenacious, stoic race knows all too well the rigors of living in the harsh and often deadly wastes of Northrend. Over time, the taunka - whom many believe to be ancestral cousins of the tauren - have adapted, but only by forcing the land and the elements to yield to their will.

We will be performing rolling restarts on all realms beginning Friday, March 28 at 5:00AM PDT. Realms will be down for no more than 15 minutes each and the entire process will take approximately 1 hour.
