We hotfixed a change to the amount of healing provided by Death Strike.

Originally, this ability was something you would use only situationally to heal yourself at a cost of damage. Since then we have redesigned the death knight class sufficiently to where Death Strike was a major rotational ability for Blood. Given how much the attack is hitting for, we think the amount of healing it provided was too much.

Healing still scales based on diseases and the damage is unchanged. Blood retains its other tools to heal.

UPDATE: We have since made another hotfix to just change the way the healing works completely. It now heals 5% of the death knight's health per disease on the target, up to a max of 15%. This should allow Frost and Unholy to benefit from Death Strike healing while letting Blood benefit from extra Death Strike damage. The tooltip will not reflect this change until we can patch the client.

In the next upcoming minor content patch, we will be wiping all talents which should fix a majority of talent issues that players have been experiencing. This talent wipe will not affect glyphs, but when reapplying your talent points, please be careful to match them up to the glyphs that you currently have placed.

For those that frequent the class forums, we've posted a Secrets of Ulduar Class advice thread in each forum. The purpose of these threads is to allow players to share with each other their current specs, and best advice on playing their class now that the new content patch has been released. These are not meant to be feedback threads, however. (Though separate constructive feedback threads are welcome.) Nor is it specific advice to Ulduar only (though that can be helpful as well.)

If its sticking around, then I'll simply go level one of my lower leveled characters, because personally, I dont much like my Death Knight anymore. Sure he's cool, but I dont feel the same pride of having a level 80 DK as I would a level 80 (insert any other class name here)
