Two Bosses Enter ... but only One Boss Leaves, in WoW.com's series of fantasy death matches. This season's combatants come from the original five-man instances of Wrath of the Lich King.

We've got adds here, people: it's Gortok Palehoof (Utgarde Pinnacle) versus Krik'thir the Gatewatcher (Azjol-Nerub). Gortok steps into the Thunderdome fresh from a resounding defeat of Lavanthor, while Krik'thir arrives after besting the Commander Stoutbeard/Kolurg from The Nexus.

World of Warcraft and Battle Chest on sale for Black Friday

Yes indeed, this Friday is none other than Black Friday, which means the deals will be aplenty, the crowds will be horrendous, and the holiday money drain will begin (of course, you could go with Buy Nothing Day, but that seems a little too grinchy to me -- why not go ahead and buy while the buying's good?). Fortunately, there are a few WoW deals floating around out there, in case you need to pick up a copy of the game for a loved one (or that Recruit-a-friend account you've been planning to make).

Blizzard has done a lot of press regarding the fifth anniversary of the game (and there's probably more to come), but Curse has done one of the more interesting pieces so far. Instead of just chatting with Cory Stockton about his experiences, they had him sit down and explain just how Blizzard puts an instance together. They specifically talked about Ulduar, but the process Stockton reveals works for all of the instances Blizzard has created for the game.

Oxhorn
is usually quite reliable for holiday festivities, and his video The Peace Circle instantly springs to mind when I consider Thanksgiving. "Why Mike!" you might exclaim, "What does a hippy love circle have to do with Thanksgiving?" The answer lies in Thunk's favorite food -- turkey.

As the peace circle proceeds, our Night Elf mediator encounters a painful truth. Thunk loves him some turkey. The caruncles are very tasty, after all. The good news, however, is that Thunk has thoughtfully brought enough for everyone. Even Associate Professor Evil is forced to acknowledge thankfulness for Thunk's turkey.

Today families across the U.S. gather together to celebrate Thanksgiving, argue about politics, and accidentally set the garage on fire while attempting to deep-fry their turkey. Roguehunter of <Gnomeland Security> on Norgannon snapped this shot of a less-than-perfect Thanksgiving meal the other day. It seems that the two turkey guests didn't appreciate their dad being the main course.

It's Pilgrim's Bounty, folks, and that means that it's a time for family. A time for friends. A time for giving. A time for mercilessly slaughtering hundreds of thousands of helpless game birds. And a time, of course, to be thankful. While you stuff your polygonal face with potatoes, pie, and, of course, the ol' bird, remember to keep that in mind. So, on that note ...

The heat's on in the Two Bosses Thunderdome -- not only in the ring itself, as competitors slash, cast and bash one another on their way toward the final matchup, but in the comments too. How will style balance substance? Who can make the best case for a victory? This week, the votes pointed to King Dred. The great devilsaur raked opponent Herald Volazj 50% to 46%.

Tier 10 Model Sets - Final Preview
Tier 10 Models are now mostly finalized and we now have a pretty good idea of how each class will look like in this patch. The latest addition is of course the Shaman set, I've been getting a lot of mails/PMs from shamans wondering why I didn't want to post their set. (Yes, some people actually think that I hate shamans enough to not post their set)

The good news is, I still love you but I didn't find any decent way to reproduce the shoulder proc effect and decided to postpone until I find a way to do it. I never found a way to do it and eventually decided to post the screenshots without the proc effect and not release a video because I don't want people to think that the set isn't as good as it actually is.
