Bornakk recently posted a nice short but sweet list of fixes for the new year. There's a couple gear fixes and one little dungeon tweak that should make a lot of frustrated dungeon finder runners happy: - The mail Bloodsunder Bracers have had their appropriate socket bonus added.
- The proc on Zod's Repeating Longbow should no longer reset auto shots.
- The gear requirement for heroic Halls of Reflection has been increased.

We here at WoW.com are on a Daily Quest to bring you interesting, informative and entertaining WoW-related links from around the blogosphere. - Tales of a Priest discusses tunnevlsion for healers, and how to prevent it with better mod placement.
- World of Matticus's Lodur brings is more PUG tales, this time detailing the Val'anyr curse.
- Gray Matter asks, was Chill of the Throne enough to keep WoW raiding under control until Cataclysm? Should it have impacted DPS, too?
- Forever a Noob keeps the great rogue advice coming. Deathbringer Saurfang is your next target.
- This is our last link of the day, but it's the most important. Vigilance, a new warrior blog, honors the memory of a fallen guildmate. Rest well, Revanx. A word to the author, from me personally, is that you guys are not alone. Hang in there.

Welcome back to The Queue, WoW.com's daily Q&A column where the WoW.com team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Adam Holisky be your host today.
So this weekend I started watching Dr. Who, the 2000's version of the series, thanks to two years of hearing about it from our Editor-in-Chief Liz Harper. There are parts of it that are really corney, and parts that are just amazingly good -- but that's the nature of most SciFi shows these days, and I can't stop watching it.
Plus, I now get the reference to The Ultrasonic Screwdriver.

Blood Pact is your weekly warlock digest brought to you by Dominic Hobbs. "Don't tell anyone this but Niby is daft." ~ Impsy <Niby's Minion>
This week Blood Pact looks at the bad-boys of our demon companions. When you think through the various warlock minions it's common to consider their usefulness. This is especially true of non-warlocks and raid leaders. Everyone knows that imp for his ranged DPS, health bonus and constant grumbling, the felhunter for annoying casters, voidwalker for tanking, felguard for pure DPS and the succubus for, well, dying a lot in Black Temple. This week though we look at two minions that are best known for killing people and causing trouble in towns and villages: the infernal and the doomguard.

The WoW Insider Show podcast aired once again this Saturday, with me and my guest hosts Matthew Rossi and Colby Moore delving into reader emails and this week's top stories on WoW.com. Thrill as we answer the age-old question of "Is it worth it to skip bosses in random heroics?" Marvel as we say it's pretty okay for Blizzard to help out the police! Gasp as I forget to thank my cohosts at the end of the show and pull a Yakko Warner! Goodnight everybody.
As always, you can email us at theshow@wow.com with any questions or comments -- we might even read yours live on the air.

A nasty bug with the 2-piece Tier 10 bonus for Elemental Shamans reared its ugly head recently when a player attempted to use Elemental Mastery. The bonus, which is supposed to reduce the cooldown on Elemental Mastery by 2 seconds each time Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning is used, instead puts the 31-point Elemental talent on a whopping seven day cooldown. This is akin to the bug found with the Hunter ability Call Stabled Pet, which puts the ability on an even more staggering 25-day cooldown. [View Remaining 1 Paragraphs]

The first of Tokyopop's class-themed manga hit the shelves early in December. World of Warcraft: Death Knight written by Dan Jolley and illustrated by Rocio Zucchi, the manga is a self-contained 166-page story detailing the life of a notable Death Knight, Thassarian, the first of the Lich King's rune-wielding champions to join the Alliance. I'm a huge fan of Tokyopop's comics made for the Warcraft universe and think that the Warcraft Legends series contain some of the best stories told about the Blizzard franchise. The Death Knight manga kicks off a new direction in Tokyopop's Warcraft manga series, taking a break from short story compilations and focusing on a lore character representative of a specific class. The story of Thassarian, as previewed in October last year, explores the World of Warcraft in-depth through a biographical story that follows the hero's origins as a soldier of Lordaeron who falls and is raised as one of Arthas' minions. To make things simple, I'll give my thoughts on the book right before the break and explain it afterward -- it's a wonderful, well-written and beautifully illustrated comic that I highly recommend to any fan of Warcraft comics. It's good. Now that we've got that out of the way, let's dive into the meat of the manga after the break.

Most machinima videos tend to clock in around 2 or 3 minutes, with even the story-driven movies reaching maybe 5 minutes on average. It takes a lot of work to film and render even a single minute of footage, which usually makes the shorter movies more manageable and effective. So, it was with a certain amount of curiosity that I fired up The Worgen for the first time.
The Worgen was created by Alexander Egeskog with the help of about a half-dozen people. The ultimate question for a movie like this is "Does the script and acting justify the longer film?" In my mind, I think it absolutely does. While some of the pacing could probably have been a little faster, I think the framework of the story sets up compelling reasons for a longer, more detailed approach to the film. Since the narrative is relayed from a father to a son, a certain amount of meandering and epic pacing is appropriate.

Weekend's done, it's back to work. How was everybody's New Year's celebration? I hope everyone's sober and up and running to start your Monday. It's the start of the week, after all, hopefully you're all not still hungover from the very long weekend. Then again, it's not always a bad thing to be a little out of sorts, especially when playing World of Warcraft. Some of my most memorable raids have actually happened when one or (regrettably) more raid members have been, how do we say, ah, rambunctious with the help of a little liquid courage. We didn't necessarily have smooth runs, but they sure were a riot, especially over vent.[View Remaining 1 Paragraphs]

What we discovered beneath this little guy's skin (a backbone of steel!) was more spine than we ever expected from a murloc.
