When we unlock the Death Knight "slot" will we also unlock the ability to start other classes at the same level as a DK starts?
If now, how do you plan on preventing a preponderance of DK alts? After all, many of us roll alts to level of crafting/gathering.

Unlocking a Death Knight does not translate over to other classes also being able to start at that level.
I'm sure that many people will forgo starting a Death Knight right away and will work on getting max level first on their main. Others may try it out but decide that it's not the class for them and others will try it and decide to stick with it. I believe it will seem like there are a lot of Death Knights at first, but it will even out after the initial rush is over.
The consensus seemed to be that if really large numbers of men were sent to storm the mountain, then enough might survive the rocks to take the citadel.

Is the idea of being able to start non-hero classes at a higher level totally out of the question?
Not that I'm aware of at this point in time. (As in, I'm unaware of it being a future consideration.)

Mmm, I can already taste the "My guild disbanded because everyone rerolled as a Death Knight" posts.
Does it taste like chicken?
