Currently we don't plan to add another character slot, so yes, one would have to be deleted or transferred on a realm that already had 10 characters on it.

It's just the same situation you would have now. If you have 10 characters on a realm and you want a new one, you would have to remove one of the existing ones.

PS: These two types of alts require mains to feed them with items, otherwise what's the point? Yea I'm totally going to transfer my bank alt to a new server. Then he'll be VERY useful to my mains! Because the unlock is account-wide, you can also try creating the Deathknight on a separate realm to see if you like the play style before making space on the realm with 10 existing characters too.
