Love is in the Air

It's that time again -- yet another world event required for What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been and your own Violet Proto-Drake.  The Love is in the Air event runs from February 11th, 2009 to February 16th, 2009.  With that in mind, here's a quick overview of what you need to do to complete Fool For Love, the meta-achievement involved in the Love is in the Air Valentine's celebration.

For those disappointed in how quickly the Lunar Festival achievements were completed, this one looks like it may take a bit longer, unless you're up for spending gold on the various required items, as the Pledges of Adoration are not tagged as Bind on Pickup.  Also for those keeping tally on your achievement points, completing all achievements related to this event will net you a total of 150.

Fool For Love (Alliance / Horde)

To complete this meta-achievement, you must complete all of the Love is in the Air related achievements below.

Heartmender (Both)

To complete this you will need to use 20 [Unbestowed Friendship Bracelet] on players with the Heartbroken debuff to remove it.

You can receive the bracelet from a Gift or Pledge of Adoration by turning in a [Love Token] (purchased for 10 copper from many NPCs) to the guards in Darnassus, Ironforge, Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff or Undercity, while wearing either [Perfume] or [Colgone].  Doing this can either net you the Adored buff and a Gift or Pledge of Adoration, or nothing at all and the Heartbroken debuff.

Shafted! (Both)

For this achievement, you will need to shoot 10 players with [Silver Shafted Arrow], one of the possible rewards from the Pledge of Adoration boxes received when turning in [Love Token].

You can also receive 5x [Silver Shafted Arrow] from the quest Gift Giving by turning in an [Alliance GIft Collection] or a [Horde Gift Collection] based on your faction.  These are created by combining the various gift collections from the major cities of your faction (Darnassus / Ironforge / Stormwind | Orgrimmar / Thunder Bluff / Undercity).

To create the city gift collections, you'll need items from the pledges in the city.  It probably isn't worth going this route unless you want spare [Silver Shafted Arrow] for after the event ends.
