As players begin to discover the many Secrets of Ulduar in patch 3.1, the Argent Crusade invites Azeroth’s bravest heroes to prove their worth in the Argent Tournament. In preparation for a fatal blow against the Lich King and his Scourge, the Argent Crusade will be hosting competitive games, giving players another chance to build reputation with the capital cities of the Horde and Alliance. The most battle-hardened contestants will have access to a host of enticing items as the Argent Crusade begins construction on the Coliseum, where valorous battles testing the might of all challengers are to come. Let the games begin!

Congratulations, Argent Champion! You've progressed past the Valiant rank and become a true Champion of the Argent Tournament. You're the finest that the Tournament has to offer and you've made your city proud.

And that means playtime's over ... again.

Yep, it's time to kill some Scourge outside Icecrown Citadel again, but this time you're after their commanders, the ones you've so deftly avoided in the past.

Congratulations, Argent Valiant! You've progressed past the Aspirant rank and proven your chops at mounted combat before your peers. You've even become a representative of your home city in the Argent Tournament.

Well, guess what? Playtime's over.

Remember, the whole point of the Argent Tournament is to train all comers into Scourge-killing badasses, so now that you've proven yourself, it's time to crack some decaying skulls. And this time, you get to do it on horseback.

Find out how after the jump.

Talk to your city rep in your faction's tent. You must have completed the entire Aspirant quest line, including the Aspirant's Challenge, to take part in this quest.

Your rep will inform you that some brave crusaders have set up a camp in the Court of Bones, just outside Icecrown Citadel, and it's your charge to head there and help them out.

A Chip Off the Ulduar Block is the counterpart to Jack Me Some Lumber, which we talked about a couple of days ago. This time around we need to gather up some stone to be used in building the coliseum. It's another Goblin quest, so naturally this stone must come from the most morally questionable location possible. This time around we're plundering Titan ruins.

Jack Me Some Lumber is one of the first daily quests you'll encounter upon arriving at the Argent Tournament. Neither of them have any impact on the tournament itself, so they can be skipped if you so choose. They only award gold, no reputation or items, so avoiding them won't hinder your progress through the Tournament content whatsoever. However, the gold is pretty good and the quests are quick, so if it's gold you want then it's gold you'll get.
